A Rent Guarantee Agreement runs for a fixed guarantee period of up to 3 years. It does not automatically renew or extend when the guarantee period ends.
If the tenancy continues
If the tenancy continues beyond the guarantee period, the landlord and tenant are no longer protected under the original agreement. To maintain protection, the tenant would need to submit a new application through Rentmigo. This would involve a new assessment, a new Rent Guarantee Agreement, and a new payment.
If circumstances have changed
A new application means the tenant's current financial position is reassessed. Approval is not guaranteed, even if the tenant was previously approved. Changes in income, credit profile, or other factors may affect the outcome.
