Guarantee period
The Rent Guarantee Agreement runs for up to 3 years from the start date. The guarantee period runs concurrently with the agreement, both starting and ending on the same dates.
What determines the duration
The guarantee period is linked to the tenancy term set out in the Rent Guarantee Agreement signed by the landlord, the tenant, and Rentmigo. It does not automatically extend beyond the agreed period.
When the guarantee ends
The guarantee ends when:
The guarantee period reaches its end date
The tenancy ends, for any reason
The tenant vacates the property
The guarantee is tied to the specific tenancy, property, and landlord named in the agreement. If any of these change, the existing agreement does not carry over.
What happens after it ends
Once the guarantee period has ended, Rentmigo has no further obligation under that agreement. If the tenancy continues beyond the guaranteed period, a new application and new agreement would be required to maintain protection.
