Where your data is stored

Your personal data is stored on encrypted infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Access is restricted to authorised personnel involved in the underwriting, assessment, and support processes.

How your data is secured

Rentmigo takes data security seriously. Our security measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest

  • Access controls limiting who within Rentmigo can view your information

  • Fraud detection and document verification systems to protect against misuse

  • Ongoing work towards ISO 27001 certification for information security

Identity verification data

Identity verification is handled by Plaid, which is SOC 2 Type II certified and operates under strict data protection standards. Your ID images and biometric data are processed securely and are not shared with your landlord.

Payment data

Payments are processed through Stripe. Rentmigo does not see or store your full card details at any point.

Open banking data

If you connected your bank account via open banking, this was facilitated by Plaid using a read-only, encrypted connection. Rentmigo does not have access to your bank login credentials or the ability to move money from your account.

Further questions

If you have questions about how your data is handled, contact our support team via live chat or at [email protected].
