As a Responsible Third Party, you are not legally liable for the tenant's rent. You are not a party to the tenancy agreement or the tripartite guarantee agreement between the tenant, the landlord, and Rentmigo.
What your involvement means
Your role is limited to providing financial documentation to support the tenant's application. This information is used by Rentmigo as part of its assessment process. It does not create any financial obligation or legal responsibility on your part.
What happens if the tenant misses rent
If the tenant fails to pay rent, the claim is handled under the terms of the Rentmigo guarantee. You will not be contacted for payment or held responsible for any arrears. The outstanding rent is recovered from the tenant, not from you.
