The tripartite agreement

Once your application is approved, the next step is signing the tripartite agreement. This is a three-way agreement between you, your landlord (or their letting agent), and Rentmigo. All three parties must sign before the guarantee can be issued.

The agreement sets out:

  • The obligations of each party

  • The property and tenancy covered

  • The monthly rent amount guaranteed

  • The coverage cap and duration

  • The terms under which a claim can be made

This is the legal foundation of your Rentmigo guarantee. It is important that you read and understand the agreement before signing.

Payment

Your guarantee fee is due at this stage. The guarantee is not issued until payment is complete. The fee is a single one-off payment of up to one month's rent, based on your individual application and assessment outcome.

The full guarantee certificate

Once the tripartite agreement has been signed by all parties and payment has been received, Rentmigo issues a full guarantee certificate. This confirms that your guarantee is active and coverage is in place.

Who receives it

Both you and your landlord (or their letting agent) receive a copy of the full guarantee certificate. It can be downloaded from your tenant dashboard at any time.

How it differs from a pre-approval certificate

A pre-approval certificate confirms that you have passed the assessment stage and are eligible for a guarantee. A full guarantee certificate confirms that the tripartite agreement is signed, payment is complete, and the guarantee is live.
